Shots we used

We were inspired to write charactertistics of each character as they log in by this shot from Gossip Girl. For example this characters personality is described as "Dangerous" as shown in the text box.

We used this split screen shot in our own trailer to enable the audience to identify the main characters and it because it looked like an interesting way to present the characters.

This is one of the shots we liked from the teen drama GossipGirl. Our trailer features a similar shot where we have shown the characters log onto the Flex site.

Coronation Street Trailer

This is a trailer of the british soap Coronation Street. I thought this trailer was quite interesting because although Coronation Street is known to be a quite realistic every day life soap opera, this trailer goes against the typical representation of the soap as it is quite sinister and horror like.

A more visually appealing TV poster which would attract both a male and female audience due to the attractive characters featured.

Gossip Girl TV Poster

• This poster highlights the good life of upper class American teens.
• The upper class nature is highlighted by the black shiny limousine,the jet and the sophisticated clothing.
• The perfect blue sky and sunshine create a joyous atmosphere,everything seems perfect. the skyscrapers in the background suggest a modern city setting.
• The positioning of the characters suggest rebellion as some characters sit on top of the limo as opposed to standing around it.

Heroes TV Poster

This poster focuses on the characters faces so we familiarise with them and focus on the facial expression.

The black background contrasts with the bright white lighting on each characters face highlighting the characters featured as heroes as they appear quite angelic. The black and white colour scheme keeps the poster quite simple and suggests the theme of good versus evil.
