This particular front cover of the radio times features popular TV drama Doctor Who. I particularly like the v-shape standing structure of the daleks as it establishes the main dalek. The magazine cover does not feature Dr Who or any of the obvious characters but instead features a significant but slightly less normal character from the drama.
The cover also features some characteristics from the World Cup,being one of the popular programmes on TV that week.
